These words not only define the Orage brand; more importantly they define our way of life. The Orage Brand Manifesto speaks volumes of the people behind the brand and where our passion truly lies. Before anything, Orage puts skiers first, we recognize and respect all aspects of our sport and are driven by the desire to enjoy what we do to the fullest.
Founded by two lifelong skiers, Eric DAnjou and Evelyn Trempe- the two set out to make their mark on the industry over 15 years ago. Taking the ski industry by storm with innovative product designs blended with alternative fabrics, Orage quickly became one of Canadas largest skiwear manufacturers. 1999 opened a new chapter in the Orage history book and with it, the brands first steps towards making a global impact.
Successfully introducing itself to the U.S. market with a sales and marketing office based in Burlington, VT. Orage leverage its quality product, strong marketing campaign and a look that the industry had not yet seen. With a strong North American campaign in motion, Orage now boasted one of the industries most diverse and dominating team of pro athletes and an event (The Orage Masters) unlike anything skiing had ever seen. In just ten short years Orage had successfully conquered the Canadian and U.S. markets and was properly positioned to make the move to the international stage.
With all the chips in place Orage leveraged its North American brand traction onto Europe, introduced its fourth proprietary event, the Orage European Freeskiing Open and built upon its team of international athletes. Now present in 12 European countries with its third office in Annecy, France the Orage distribution channel consists of over 2,500 retail locations worldwide.
With a workforce of more than 125 strong, the Orage brand thrives upon providing high end, quality products and promoting the true essence of skiing. Orage continues to support the entire skiing community and the innovators of our sport as they move forward. At the core of the brands success is a true sense of passion that can be seen in everything Orage does.
Priding itself on being an ambassador to the sport and always looking to the future many things have changed over the years, but one thing remains constant. 'We live to ski, we're obsessed with clothing, we're in love with details and we believe in Innovation Through Style.
