The new Giro Chapter helmet is a low profile helmet and set up with our new Intake Port vent system. The Giro Chapter is the new architype for back country / all mountain riding. The deepest channels we have ever cut into a snow helmet pump air over your head to keep you cool and comfortable.
Features:
Interior Subliner - The interior subliner allows you to customize your pads or pull them out completely for the ultimate in rider tuned fit. A soft Velcro free fabric is laminated to the EPS foam on the inside of the helmet to make the fit more comfortable if you want to remove the padding to accommodate a beanie or goggle strap.
Super Cool Vents - Super Cool vents are must for any helmet. The Cool vents bring in the outside air to keep you cool when your head gets warm. The vents push out warm air and bring in a slow, steady cool breeze. The Vents keep you cool and regulate your temperature when you heat up for a great day on the mountain.
In Form System - The In Form system is an easy way to get the perfect fit. Simply dial in the push straps at the back of the helmet to adjust the fit up to 6 centimeters. The fit is incredible and easy to use. Share the helmet with friend and family even if their head is bigger or smaller than yours. The In Form system is designed to reduce goggle gap which is known to give you that brain freeze feeling.
Stack Vent - Giro's Stack Vent is a revolutionary technology that prevents fog build up on your goggles by pushing air through the top of the helmet. The Stack Vent aligns perfectly with your goggles to keep them clear of fog to maintain maximum visibility while charging down the mountain.
In Mold Construction- The In- Mold construction is a bond between the outer shell of the helmet and the impact absorbing EPS liner. With the two materials "Fused" together you get a lightweight construction and because they are reinforced your helmet is designed to take a beating from the roughest, toughest slams.
